Judgment

I've had encounters with spiritual visionary cat burglars, philosophical gang members, tantrum throwing, chain  smoking Buddhist teachers.  I've met muggers and teenage male prostitutes  and even a murderer or two who opened to  great and astounding inner light & wisdom.

Life has a also  been spiced with cruel and physically abusive church leaders, embezzling priests, and High School principals
and  sweet and shy acting, well dressed church going young men who liked to torture animals.  Throw in  an amazing number of fat unhealthy  smoking , heavy drinking bad tempered   healers or teachers who were possessed  of great power etc..

These encounters have firmed up the view that neither  the  appearance or behavior of a person can correctly give you the total picture of their true essence,  in this life  to be a spiritual teacher you must be experienced.

Enlightenment is the realization and understanding of  the divine in all of us and our union Some of the ways to get  the experience and compassion  needed to be a  compassionate Buddha  type is is to fill all  the roles including some that are called evil. the ultimate harm or good an act or intention does can be unfathomable to us  as we go through our ordinary lives

Great evil has been done by those who only wished to improve the world and great good has been done by those who sought only to enrich themselves.
You know that when we lock our selves out side of experiencing pleasure  when we waste our time criticizing others when we are absolutely certain that we know the only right way to act or be or use healing energy when we reject or accept a teaching or teacher  because of appearance  then we lose opportunities for growth
and understanding   life is good love is good there is always more to learn .
I have learned that when I react to  something or someone with an intense emotional frothing whether positive or negative I need to look within myself for issues that I need to deal with that echo the qualities I am reacting to.
