On Touching crystals,
Letting people touch your stones
Some people feel that their stones and crystals should only be touched by themselves. Others worry that negative energy will be picked up by stones that others handle.
While you may have some crystals you keep as personal stones and it is nice if folks don't mess up your dedicated grids, usually No harm is done when people pick up your crystals. The people may be responding to the call of a crystal which has healing energy or other value for them . Most people are helped by contact with crystals and stones.
Stones which do absorb negative energy are easily cleared.
When young children are around, small stones which might be swallowed and any toxic stones should be kept out of reach . Adults can be asked to ask before handling stones because some are fragile etc. I encourage people to handle or touch stones that attract them . The stones can be cleared later in the unlikely event they need it.
Usually those stones and crystals which find their way into our homes have chosen to be our helpers. Many stones are energized by interacting with people. When you expect people over you might meditate and ask your crystal family if there are stones that would prefer to be put away or covered during the visit and follow any intuitive urgings you pick up.
The universal energy surrounds and enfolds us all people and crystals and all other beings can draw on this energy at all times , are of and within this energy and love and life . Trust that the stones will come to no harm trust that friends and family and others will also come to no harm and only benefit from being around the crystals and stones.
You should usually ask if you may touch another persons' crystals as many people prefer that they be the only person to handle the stones and crystals they work with.
