Dragons
Here are a few of my dragon drawings and some dragonlore
Dragons are Elemental beings /Forces. a form of intelligent energy and Natural power Elemental spirits, forces of nature and protectors of the Earth.
Dragons are guardians of the Elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water and spirit and exemplify the powers of nature.
In the East Dragons Were considered powerful wise guardians and the West they were considered evil monsters. Dragons are known for hoarding Gold and jewels some say that the powerful acid they exuded simply dissoved stone and left them surrounded by gold and jewels. Others say that Jewels and gold either hold or symbolize wisdom and magic abilities and as guardians of Nature and Arcane Wisdom it was the Dragons duties to gather and protect precious things .
Dragons have not been seen much in the real world lately. They often appear in dreams sometimes to warn people to avoid certain situations and sometimes to guide them to deeper or higher wisdom.
Nature spirits in the Form of Dragons who choose to interact with you in the psychic realms tend to few people as eather pets with potential or vermin. Dragons can be lovely companions though one must be very honest with them. Never promise something you cannot deliver and only take what they offer, and if you get stuck with the bar tab do not complain.
Sometimes people say that the dragons in pictures could not really fly because their wings were too short and not located in the right position. When Dragons did manifest in the physical world they could probably produce a gas which like hydrogen made them lighter than air. A flamable gas would explain the fire breath too in that case the wings could be for stability or steering rather than for lift . The wings might be something more used in display and mating than in
flight.
Then again the true answer must be that Dragons are and have always been Magical and Spiritual and are from quite
another reality than this mundane realm where people dwell.
It could be that neither Dragons nor Angels have wings at all, being creatures of ethers and light. Material minded mankind had created the wings in the imagination to explain the undeniable fact that Dragons And angels and fairies can and do Fly.
You would probably have to find a dragon to discuss this with. Some dragons are known for the quality of their intellect and would enjoy a stimulating discussion others might prefer to eat you first.Peggy Jentoft
