Gemstone Alphabet
for Acrostic Jewelry , spellwork and crystal grids and secret messages
I could not find a list of stones used in acrostic jewelry which was very popular during the Victorian
era. It used to be possible able to buy necklaces and bracelets with "Your name in gemstones".
When I was very young I had necklace with a Peridot, Emerald, Garnet, Garnet, and something Yellow,
possibly Topaz? to spell out my name Peggy on a pendant.
Now even the one jewelers site I found that said they made Acrostic jewelry did not have a list of stones
for the letters. All I could find was Dear spelled with Diamond Emerald Amethyst and Ruby and regard.
I guess we will have to assemble one of our own here is a few I thought of but I did not think of many.
If anyone could find a list of suggestions I'd love to include it in our references
Not all of these would work in jewelry but it is a start. Using stones in spellwork with this acrostic language could be a
strong support for that work as well as contributing to grids and mandala in some cases.
One would be careful to call on stones that were alligned with the intended purpose of the work.
